On Saturday West Wiltshire represented Wiltshire at the SW Schools finals at Cadburys in Keynsham.

Whilst the Bath boys battled it out against North Somerset, the Wiltshire squad took on Gloucester B at MPS. With glorious weather and a decent surface, the home side started well and controlled the game with some fine play right from the goalkeeper Alex Mengham.

Bath was finally able to meet North Somerset in the county round of the national 7-a-side tournament this weekend. Winners would join Wiltshire in the regional finals to be played at Fry's club in Keynsham in 2 weeks time. Despite a brave fight back, Bath were left to rue a host of missed chances and eventually lost the game 2-1.
