Bath & West Wilts travelled south west on Saturday to play a 4 quarter game against Plymouth Schools.
The start of the game was a tight affair. Plymouth had the better goalscoriing chances, but Bath enjoyed the better possession on a difficult pitch. Unsurprisingly the first period finished 0-0.
The second period continued much in the same way and there was little to choose between the two sides, but it was the home side who took the intitiative and took the lead.
The third period saw Bath dominated proceedings but chances for Dimambro, Thompson, Cridge, Jennings and Norcrosse failed to hit the mark ad Bath ended the period frustrated.
The final period started well but a few erors started to creep in which allowed Plymouth to gain the momentum to score through their effective striking partnership. A consolation goal from Cridge meant that Bath was off the mark for 2010, but the boys felt disappointed to lose by the 4-1 margin.
Nevermind, the scoreline was soon forgotten with a visit to the water park and the ice rink followed by a nutricious meal at Mc Donalds...yuk!
